Daytona stars rocket up PTO World Rankings

The PTO World Rankings have been updated to include the stunning performances from the PTO 2020 Championship at CHALLENGEDAYTONA® in December.

Gustav Iden and Paula Findlay claimed brilliant victories in Florida to climb into the top 10 and increase their hopes of earning a coveted automatic qualification spot at the 2021 Collins Cup.

Iden’s outstanding performance in the men’s race saw the previously unranked Norwegian claim the #3 spot, putting him firmly in contention for Team Europe’s Collins Cup side.

Findlay’s dominant display in the women’s race saw the Canadian rise to #8 thanks to a haul of 110.25 ranking points.

Frodeno and Ryf stay on top

Germany’s Jan Frodeno and Switzerland’s Daniela Ryf maintain their #1 positions atop the men’s and women’s rankings respectively.

Ryf is the #1 woman with 363.71 points, followed by Britain’s Lucy Charles-Barclay (351.73) and New Zealand’s Teresa Adam (346.11).

Anne Haug, second at the PTO 2020 Championship, is now #5 while Holly Lawrence and Skye Moench – who also finished in the top 10 in Daytona – are #6 and #9 in the updated rankings.

Frodeno heads the men on 324.67 points, with Britain’s two-time Olympic Champion Alistair Brownlee second on 308.92 points. Iden is close behind with 305.53 points.
