Making her T100 debut in San Francisco 2024, Taylor Knibb is one of the USA’s leading female triathletes.
“Just keep moving forward” - graduating from Cornell University in 2020 with a Psychology degree, Taylor Knibb’s mental game is strong.
Originating from Washington D.C, Knibb who is recognised for her supreme bike power, began her triathlon journey aged 11. Four years later, she was heavily involved in the junior elite triathlon scene, quickly rising to the top, taking gold at the USA Junior National Championship in 2015 and 2016 and accumulating Junior World Championship wins in 2016 and 2017. She is also one of only three women to hold world titles in both Junior and U23 categories.
Earning her spot on the US Olympic triathlon squad at a record-breaking age of 23, Knibb made US Olympic history after becoming the youngest woman to qualify and compete in a US triathlon team at Tokyo 2020. Here, she gained a silver medal in the Mixed Relay alongside teammates, Morgan Pearson, Kevin McDowell and Katie Zaferes.
Breaking another record after becoming the youngest woman to win an Ironman 70.3 in 2022, Knibb won the race for the second time in the following year.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, contracted T100 athlete Taylor Knibb, qualified for Paris 2024 in both the triathlon and cycling time trial making her a double-sport Olympian.
