Penny is based out of Canberra, Australia. Although not foreign to being involved in sport growing up Penny didn't start triathlon until 2014. In 2017 she started racing Cross Triathlon and achieved 2 x U23 world titles. In 2021 Penny made the switch to long course racing and has been hooked ever since!
In 2022 Penny quit her job as a high school teacher and decided to go all in on her long course career. Racing Kona as one of the youngest professional females in 2022 highlighted Penny's desire to reach the top echelons of the sport. Off the race course Penny enjoys putting to work her Exercise Science knowledge in her own coaching business and continuing her post graduate studies. Penny hopes to achieve top 10 performances at WC's in the coming years as well as continue her passion to advocate, educate and empower other women on their sporting and triathlon journeys.
