Caroline grew up in Lexington, KY, with a passion for sport, specifically in soccer and swimming. She eventually went on to walk on the track and cross country team at Butler University, a D1 program with no background in competitive running. Being very new and progressing quickly, upon graduating college in 2016, she was still hungry for sport and competition. She found a triathlon coach and started racing for fun in 2018, dabbling in all the distances as a beginner. She became competitive as an age-grouper and went on to take her elite license in 2024. She is currently living in Franklin, TN as a full time triathlon coach and triathlete, alongside her partner, Mitch, who is also a professional triathlete.
