Meghan Dirito is from Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. She is a part time emergency veterinarian, wife and mother of 2 kids and full-time professional triathlete. Her background includes being a division 1 swimmer for Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She swam the 50 and 100 freestyle events all 4 years in college, holding the records in both and qualifying for NCAAs and Olympic Trials. Later she was inducted into the Bucknell sports Hall of Fame for her achievements in swimming. 

After graduating college, she started training for her first triathlon in 2018 and signed up for her first 70.3 (Eagleman) and 140.6 (Chattanooga) in 2019. She earned her professional triathlon license in 2022 and  raced her first professional race at Ironman Florida in November. She is coached by Endure IQ under the guidance of Aaron Geiser and Front Pack Swim.
