Luke took up triathlon at 12 years of age after dabbling in cross country and athletics. 2 sprint distance age group World Championship wins 2017/18 and Australian Junior Champion 2019. 2022 Brought a different challenge in the sport taking up guiding for the vision impaired. The commonwealth games saw Luke guide Sam Harding to a silver medal and then a 6th Place at the World Paratriathlon Championships in the same year.
