Jordi Garcia Gràcia was born in Badalona in 1992 and began his journey in sports at the Club Natació Badalona, where he initially stood out in swimming before transitioning into triathlon. With a competitive mindset and a strong work ethic, Jordi claimed the European Youth Championship title in 2009 in Tarzo de Revine and competed in the Junior European Championship, establishing himself as one of Spain’s rising triathlon stars.
2018 was a turning point in his career when he made the commitment to pursue elite-level triathlon after winning the European Cup in Valencia. This decision led to his best year in 2022, with a notable 8th place finish at the World Cup in Pontevedra and a 5th place at the World Cup in Viña del Mar.
In addition to competing at the highest level in Olympic distance, Jordi made his debut in the half-distance in 2017, achieving a strong 3rd place at Challenge Peguera-Mallorca and a 15th place finish in the inaugural edition of The Championship.
Currently living and training in Banyoles, Jordi continues to compete at the highest level. With a mindset focused on constant improvement, he combines his athletic career with his role as a coach and educator, helping future talents grow in the world of triathlon. He remains committed to pushing his performance to the limit and taking on new challenges.
